The cruise ship, Caribbean Princess, arrived at Portland at 6.30am today after sailing overnight from Southampton.
There are more than 3,000 passengers on board, many of whom will be visiting Weymouth.
The ship, which was built in 2004, is operated by Princess Cruises.
She has 18 decks and was christened by Jill Whelan.
