Wessex Golf Centre is asking to retain the use of a portable building used as a café which has been in place for almost two years without planning consent.

Other new planning applications to be considered in the area by Dorset Council include the Wyvern School off the Dorchester Road, Weymouth, is applying to add dozens of solar panels to its site.

Between them they are expected to create 100kW of power, substantially reducing the energy bills for the Wey Valley campus.
