The charter left from Weymouth to Durdle Door before heading over to Portland.

Mrs Bamber had hoped to see Honey, the resident dolphin at Portland Harbour, and her birthday wish came true as the creature came close to her boat.

Snapper Charters says that Honey, a mother bottlenose dolphin, was born in Scotland but now resides in the waters surrounding Dorset.

She can be identified by her smooth dorsal fin.

Her calf Wills is also seen around Portland and Weymouth

In between Dorset and Scotland, the Mother and calf pair have been reported as stopping off in Cornwall.
