CROWDS at pubs across the county went wild as England booked their place in the final of Euro 2024 with a last-gasp winner by substitute Ollie Watkins.
Pubs were packed with England fans in Weymouth and Dorchester - with England's run to the final giving a boost to businesses throughout the summer.
Spaces for Sunday are filling up quickly as punters book their favourite pub to watch the final with England taking on Spain in Berlin (kick-off 8pm).
Donna Couderc, landlady of the Sydney Arms in Dorchester, said: "It was electric in here.
"Everyone behaved brilliantly, we did have a couple of beers land on the ceiling, they went up but the glasses didn't.
"For the pub it is great, I have been doing this since the 80s and it certainly makes a change to see England doing so well.
"In the past, we have been out early and people lose interest quite quickly.
"But now they are doing fantastically.
"We want to thank everybody for being so well-behaved, it is the best big match I have ever worked on.
"Dorchester is such a fantastic little town with really great people."
The pub already had all of its tables booked up for the final when the final whistle blew on Wednesday night.
Donna added: "All of our tables are booked up already, they were booked up as soon as the game finished on Wednesday.
"The phone has not stopped either but it is only standing room available now."
Keith Treggiden, landlord of the Wyke Smugglers in Weymouth, said: "The atmosphere was phenomenal.
"We had more than 200 people in here.
"When that winning goal went in, it blew the roof off."
Victor Szkolski, landlord of the John Gregory at Southill, said: "Honestly, I think many people didn't think England would go through.
"It was a big, big surprise.
"The atmosphere was amazing, this is a family pub and it was great to see different generation celebrating together, fathers and sons, mothers and sons
"Sport is about bringing people together, this is not a sports bar but it really makes the day special.
"Everyone in the pub booked a table straight away and we will be fully booked on Sunday."
