Jack has Langerhans' cell histiocytosis (LCH) and is in a wheelchair because of his condition.

They were in attendance at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund on Wednesday night as they witnessed goals from Harry Kane and a late winner by substitute Ollie Watkins to send England into their first-ever major final on foreign soil.

Matt said: "It was outstanding.

"Words can't describe what that feeling was like when that goal went in.

"The fans were unbelievable, we were outnumbered by The Netherlands' fans but the stadium erupted when that goal went in.

"We are going to make the six-and-a-half-hour journey to Berlin on Saturday and we will spend a couple of nights there.

"We came here 28 days ago on a one-way ferry and we would see how we got on.

"It is nice now to have a ferry booked and we know when we are coming home."

Matt and Jack are both optimistic about England's chances but know it will be a tough game against Spain.

Matt added: "Spain has been the best team but if we go in with a game plan, anything can happen in a final.

"Sometimes the best team doesn't win.

"We are both really looking forward to it."

The Weymouth pair once again bumped into more famous faces on Wednesday, meeting Rio Ferdinand for the fourth time, ex-German footballer Philipp Lahm and YouTuber Theo Baker.

Jack teased his father that he predicted England's run to the final.

Jack said: "My dad said to me we would be lucky to get out of the group and we would be going home early.

"I said to him we would be in Berlin for the final and it has happened, I was right, just one more game to go now."
