The countdown is on to a summer of spectacular firework events.
Weymouth fireworks are set to return to the seafront on July 29 at 9.30pm.
The popular displays will take place every Monday until August 26.
The free to attend event is hosted by Weymouth Town Council and will see fireworks launched from a boat anchored in Weymouth Bay.
There will be plenty of local hospitality and various attractions along the seafront alongside the event.
A budget of £33,000 was initially set out for the five firework displays and commercial sponsorship was sought to decrease this amount.
The dates and funding were agreed by the Environment and Services Committee last year, with 10 in favour of the budget and dates, and two against.
Last year’s displays (2023) cost the council around £18,000 with additional funds brought in by sponsors.
