A LENGTHY diversion is in place this week for drivers travelling in the day between Dorchester and Broadmayne.
The road from Came View roundabout in Dorchester to the 30mph limit in Broadmayne is subject to closure for roadworks to take place on the A352 at Whitcombe.
Closures are expected daily from 9am until 4pm until July 16th, although may need to be continued longer if the maintenance works are delayed.
The suggested diversion takes drivers via the main Dorchester to Weymouth road, to Osmington and then to the Mount Pleasant roundabout before re-joining the A352 Broadmayne road.
