SUMMER rain may have coincided with the latest prom to be held in the Dorset Echo area but it certainly didn't put a dampener on proceedings.

The weather didn't stop students from donning some smart suits and gorgeous dresses for the All Saints Academy Year 11 prom on Friday evening.

There were many red carpet arrivals from some unusual vehicles as students from the Wyke Regis school headed inside to enjoy the memorable night at Weymouth Pavilion.
