PRESTON Beach Road in Weymouth will be closed this week for night-time works to improve the road surface.
The closure is expected from Thursday July 11th until Tuesday 16th, although may be in place for longer if the scheduled work has to be extended.
Diversions will be in place between 8pm and 5am with an alternative route using the B3155 - A353 - A354 - B3159.
The section of road to be closed runs from the junction of Overcombe Corner and Westerhall, a distance of just over 2km.
