The A31 has been closed due to a crash involving a van.
Emergency services have been called to a crash along the A31 westbound between the end of the M27 and Picket Post.
All lanes are blocked heading Westbound.
The Echo's traffic feed, by Inrix, said: "A31 Westbound blocked, stationary traffic due to recovery work and accident from M27 J1 (Cadnam) to A31 (Minstead / Castle Malwood Turn Off).
"Recovery of a van that was involved in a collision on the 16/06 and left the carriageway."
The AA meanwhile added: "Severe delays of 14 minutes and delays increasing on M27 Westbound between J2 A36 (Romsey / Totton) and A31. Average speed five mph."
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area
