A teddy bear made from an old paramedic uniform has been auctioned off for charity.
The bear which was crafted by a former patient was made from an old South Western Ambulance Service uniform.
It fetched an impressive £100 at auction, with proceeds donated to the South Western Ambulance Charity.
The teddy was created by the former patient as a way of saying thank you to the staff that cared for her.
She said: “I did it as a thank you for their care of me when I had a non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) last year and they acted so kindly and quickly".
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Charity said: “Every donation helps us to support our people and our patients, but we’re particularly delighted to have received such lovely pictures of this gorgeous bear, along with such positive feedback for our hard working staff.”
