TWO people have been injured after a car crashed into a house in Tuckton in Bournemouth.

One person has been arrested and two people have been injured.

It was reported that a moving vehicle crashed into a parked car on Cranleigh Road at around 8pm last night. Police remain on the scene this morning.

Officers attended the incident with the ambulance and fire services.

Police said one person was taken to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life-changing of life-threatening.

Dorset Police said: "At 7.49pm on Sunday, July 7, Dorset Police received a report of a collision in Cranleigh Road in Bournemouth, involving two vehicles which subsequently collided with a house.

"There will be an increased police presence in the area as officers carry out further enquiries.

"We would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding as emergency services deal with the incident."

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Police asked us to attend a property in Cranleigh Road, Bournemouth at 8pm last night (7 July) after two vehicles collided with it.

"A crew from Christchurch attended and helped to make the scene safe, and our stop was at 9.35pm.

"It looks as though one vehicle was removed last night and the other will be moved today once the house has been inspected by a structural engineer."
