Police have said that a group of older teenagers were forcibly kicking a football across roads and up against property and vehicles.
Their behaviour caused several residents to feel "alarmed, harassed and intimidated".
When asked to stop, a member of the group allegedly became verbally confrontational.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said: "The parents of one of the youths have been advised of the unacceptable behaviour and the male was warned to cease causing upset.
"The Dorchester Team request that residents in the area continue to support us by reporting any further issues should they occur.
"We would like the school holiday period to be enjoyable for everyone and for people to consider how their behaviour can impact on others.
"Video doorbell footage/CCTV/mobile pictures are especially useful."
