AN INDOOR adventure playground for dogs has landed in Dorset.
Sophia Newing owns Bellas House, a five-star licensed and first-aid-trained pet service.
Now, Sophia is expanding her business to Teddy’s Playhouse, a new enrichment area for four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes in Hurn.
Sophia said: “Teddy’s Playhouse provides a completely secure indoor and outdoor enrichment experience for dogs to learn, play, and socialise.
“My own dog Teddy is my little best friend, so I of course had to include him in the name.
“We offer private hire sessions, allowing exclusive access to the entire venue, as well as scheduled playgroups where friendly and sociable dogs can make new friends.
“Our playhouse features custom-built climbing frames, sniffing walls, a ball pit, a sandpit, tyres, tunnels, an enrichment corner, splash pools, and more."
Sophia also mentioned her experience as a pet business owner.
She added: “I have been passionately involved in the pet care industry for over two years now, driven by a lifelong love for dogs.
“After studying Canine Behaviour, I opened Bella’s House, a five-star council-licensed home day-care and boarding business.
“Through this experience, I identified a significant gap in the market for a dedicated enrichment area that offers specialised and safe fun for dogs in all types of weather conditions.
“Through my extensive studies in canine behaviour, I've discovered the critical importance of mental stimulation for dogs.
“This understanding inspired the creation of Teddy’s Playhouse, designed to provide a completely safe and secure environment that engages all of a dog's senses.
“Dogs can experience various textures under their paws and build confidence by exploring new activities, such as navigating our ball and sand pits, tunnels, and climbing frames.
“Teddy’s Playhouse provides an unparalleled indoor and outdoor experience that ensures continuous enrichment and fun, regardless of the weather.
“In addition to all the benefits for the dogs, our playgroup sessions provide an opportunity for fellow dog enthusiasts in the community to come together - as well as being able to grab a tea or coffee too.”
