Dorset’s criminal past will be unravelled at an upcoming talk in Weymouth.
The South Dorset group of the Somerset and Dorset Family History Society will be holding the next meeting at 2.30pm on Friday, July 19.

The talk will delve into some case studies of Victorian crime in Dorset while exploring how sentencing and punishment changed over the course of the 19th century.
It will be held at the society’s usual meeting spot of St Aldhelm's Church Centre on Spa Road, Weymouth.
The meeting will be preceded by tea and coffee.
Cost of admission is £2 for society members and £3 for non-members.
