POLICE are searching for a man who went missing from Portland.

Sukhbant Siddhu, aged 48, was reported missing on Tuesday, July 2 having last been seen in Wakeham at around 8am.

It is believed that he visited the Chesil Beach car park on Portland Beach Road this morning.
 

Officers are appealing for information from the public to assist in their searches for a missing man from Portland.

Inspector Steve Hughes, of Dorset Police, said: “Sukhbant’s disappearance is very out-of-character and we are concerned for his welfare. We are very keen to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Sukhbant’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

“If Sukhbant sees this appeal, I would urge him to call us. We are all worried about you and just want to ensure you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Sukhbant’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 2:167.

At 2pm, police confirmed he had been found.
