A fire has broken out at a boatyard.
Two fire engines have been sent to Ferry Bridge marina off Portland Beach Road this afternoon.
Upon arrival, a small area of rubbish was found alight, and firefighters remained at the scene for a while after.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters from Weymouth were called at 4.14pm this afternoon to reports of a fire in a boatyard off Portland Beach Road, Weymouth.
"On their arrival firefighters found a small area of rubbish alight. This has been extinguished using one hose reel. Firefighters are still on scene."
The stop message, meaning that the incident has been dealt with and no further action is required was received at 4.48pm and the crews have now returned to the station.
