A signalling problem is causing disruption to train services today.
There are some cancellations and delays to trains running from Weymouth to Southampton Central due to a 'track circuit failure'
Trains are having to run at reduced speeds on the line towards Southampton due to the signalling problem between Brockenhurst and Beaulieu Road.
Disruption is expected to last until the end of today (Wednesday, June 26).
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "Due to a track circuit failure between Brockenhurst and Beaulieu Road trains have to run at reduced speed on the line towards Southampton.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
"In addition to this we also experienced a loss of signalling at Brockenhurst for approximately 15 mins which caused all trains in the area to be brought to a stand.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following services:
