A man has died at a beach in west Dorset.
Emergency services rushed to Cogden Beach, along the coast road, late on Saturday night after police received a report about an unresponsive man at 11.20pm.
A man, aged in his 70s and from Frome, Somerset, was pronounced dead at the scene, Dorset Police confirmed.
A police spokesman said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"The man’s family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.
"Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this very difficult time."
