A man remains in hospital after a serious crash on the coast road.
As previously reported, a crash on the B3157 Bramdon Lane between the junctions for Rodden and Langton Herring was reported to police at 4.42pm on Monday June 10.
It involved a black Suzuki motorcycle and a white Nissan Interstar van.
The air ambulance service took a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His next of kin was made aware.
A man was also arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.
It has subsequently been confirmed that the injured man continues to receive treatment for his injuries in hospital.
It comes as police also confirm that a man has been released under investigation while enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "The arrested man remains released under investigation as enquiries continue.
"The injured man is continuing to receive treatment for his injuries in hospital."
