People can evening of folk music at an upcoming summer concert.
Dorset Chamber Choir has announced details of its upcoming Summer Serenade, which will feature music “perfect for a summer evening.”
The programme will include madrigals and folk songs, items by Byrd, Elgar, Monteverdi and others, as well as settings of the Te Deum by Vaughan-Williams and Charpentier.
It conducted by musical director, John Watkins, and piano accompaniment will be by Chris Dowie.
The concert will take place at 7pm on Friday July 12 at Merley House, Merley House Lane, Wimborne.
Tickets cost £15, with reduction to £5 for students and children. They are available from choir members, or at the door (subject to availability).
