A CAR which had been sought by police for 'several weeks' has been seized.
Officers from Weymouth and Portland Police have been looking to locate the vehicle and driver due to its 'persistent activity' in the Weymouth area.
After receiving intelligence on the car's whereabouts, officers were able to locate and stop it.
The driver was found to have a revoked licence and no insurance, according to police..
Officers proceeded to search the vehicle and driver for drugs - no drugs were found and the car was seized and will not be returned to the driver.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Following intelligence received, PC Evans from Weymouth neighbourhood team has been seeking to locate the vehicle for several weeks, due to its persistent activity in Weymouth."
