Part of a main road in Dorset will be closed for essential maintenance works.
The A352 near Dorchester will be temporarily shut between the Came View roundabout and the 30mph signs at Broadmayne.
The temporary road closure order will come into force on July 8.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by July 16.
A temporary clearway will be imposed on this stretch of road.
The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will enable Dorset Council to carry out essential highway maintenance works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
For further information about the work being undertaken and access arrangements, call Dorset Highways on 01305 228100.
