Ahead of the general election on Thursday, July 4, the candidates for South and West Dorset have spoken to The Echo about why they should get your vote.
Donna Lumsden, Labour parliamentary candidate for West Dorset:
"For over 20 years, I have dedicated my career to championing the rights and well-being of children with disabilities who are unable to speak for themselves.
"My unwavering passion has always been to ensure that these children are given the opportunity to live better lives and that their voices are heard and valued in society.
"I believe deeply in the power of advocacy and inclusivity, striving every day to create a Britain where every child, regardless of their circumstances, is recognized, supported, and empowered.
"My mission is to make sure that the less fortunate children in our country are not only seen and heard but also given the chance to thrive."
