Ahead of the general election on Thursday, July 4, the candidates for South and West Dorset have spoken to The Echo about why they should get your vote.
Lloyd Hatton, Labour parliamentary candidate for South Dorset:
"This election is South Dorset's opportunity to deliver a fresh start.
"For 14 years, we have been let down by a chaotic Conservative Government.
"I was born and raised in Weymouth.
"I went to school at Holy Trinity and then All Saints. Growing up, I spent my weekends playing rugby with Weymouth RFC, working at the Marlboro fish and chip shop by the Harbour, and visiting my grandparents in Swanage.
"I'm proud to call South Dorset home.
"Now I want to be a local champion who will stand up for our community and give South Dorset a strong voice in Westminster.
"I cannot wait to spend the coming weeks listening to constituents across South Dorset, and earning your trust and support. It's time for a fresh start!"
