Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.
To help the Ashley Heath Animal Centre carry on their work you can donate to their website here.
Hope
Gender - Female
Age - Six to 12 months old
Breed - Not stated
Colour - Black
If you want to adopt Hope you can view their full profile here.
Hope came into the care of the RSPCA after she was removed from a large multi-dog household.
She is looking for a home with adopters who are willing to be patient and understanding so she can get used to a regular routine.
Hope was quite nervous in the centre at first but is slowly progressing and has now made friends with some of the calmer dogs on site.
Ideally, Hope would go to a home where any children living there would be dog-confident older teenagers and one where she would have access to a garden.
Bucky
Gender - Male
Age - Five years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White
If you want to adopt Bucky you can view their full profile here.
Bucky is described as quite a shy cat but will slowly warm up to new people over time.
He can get spooked by noises and anything that could surprise him, but he eventually settles.
Bucky has lived with cats before, and if given the time to settle into his new home he could live with a friendly cat.
Additionally, he could live with children of secondary school age but there should be no dogs in the home.
Molly
Gender - Female
Age - Four years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Calico
If you want to adopt Molly you can view their full profile here.
Molly came into the care of the RSPCA through no fault of her own and is now looking for a forever home.
She is described as being very affectionate and enjoys a bit of fuss.
The RSPCA adds: "Though much loved by her previous home, Molly did find living with a young child stressful so we are looking for a fairly quiet home with older children."
Additionally, she is not to be rehomed within five miles of the BH15 postcode or in Surrey.
Mars
Gender - Male
Age - Three years old
Breed - Not stated
Colour - Tan and White
If you want to adopt Mars you can view their full profile here.
Mars came into the care of the RSPCA after he was removed from a large multi-dog household.
He was very timid at first but has shown some progress and is also now walking on leads.
The RSPCA adds: "Due to the unknown contact with children in their previous home, we are looking for a home where any children are dog-confident older teens.
"Due to potentially requiring further housetraining, we are ideally looking for homes where the dog will have access straight out into a garden."
Chi Chi
Gender - Female
Age - Two years old
Breed - Crossbreed/unknown
Colour - Brown and Beige
If you want to adopt Chi Chi you can view their full profile here.
Chi Chi is described as a dog with a lot of energy who is also playful and very friendly.
She has been clean in her kennel and does know some basic commands but would benefit from receiving further basic training.
Although she has shown to get on with other dogs it is felt it would be best for Chi Chi to be the only pet in a new home.
Chi Chi initially came into the care of the RSPCA after being taken to the vet for a possible topical burn or non-treatment of a skin problem.
After several weeks of treatment, she has responded well although the hair may never grow back on the scarred areas, and as a result, she will need to wear suncream daily for the remainder of her life.

Mickey

Breed - Domestic semi crossbreed
Colour - Black and White
If you want to adopt Mickey you can view their full profile here.
Mickey came into the care of the RSPCA due to his owner passing away, and he is now looking for his forever home.
Mickey came in overweight, has lost a small amount and will need to continue to lose weight in his new home.
Mickey could live with another cat, given time and space, and any children in the home would need to be over the age of 13.
