A luxury cruise ship blessed by a supermodel has docked in Portland Port.
The Seven Seas Splendor arrived at Portland at around noon today after travelling from Cobh-Cork, Ireland overnight.
The cruise ship is a smaller ship accommodating just 829 passengers, and will finish its twelve day round trip of the UK tomorrow, due to arrive back in Southampton at 7am.
She was christened by supermodel Christie Brinkley in 2020, who praised the details on the ship as 'amazing, from the artistic style of the Italian marble, the artwork and chandeliers, to the sculpture of the mythical dragon outside Pacific Rim.'
The ship features more than 46,000 square feet of Italian marble and a $5 million curated fine art collection that is said to be the most discerningly curated collection of museum-quality 20th- and 21st-century art on the seas.
Her 375 suites include nearly 52,000 square feet of balcony space – among the largest cruise ship balconies in the world.
