More stars have been announced ahead of a celebrity football match in Dorchester later this month.
The match is set to take place at the Avenue Stadium on Sunday, June 30, kicking off at 3pm.
It follows a similar event held last autumn.
This year, the game will raise funds for two charities, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Lexi May Trust- which supports children with terminal or life-limiting conditions in Dorset.
It has been revealed that Calum Best, son of legendary Manchester United footballer George Best, will return to the Avenue for the contest. Although he was injured for the game last year, he made the trip down to manage the sides and take pictures with fans on the day.
Married At First Sight star Arthur Poremba has also been announced, as too has Phil Turner, who was runner-up in this year’s BBC TV show, The Apprentice.
Bleu Landau has also been announced in the line up. He played Dennis Rickman Jr on EastEnders between 2015 to 2020. He will be joined by fellow EastEnders stars Ricky Grove- who played Garry Hobbs, Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning in the BBC TV soap. Matt Lapinskas, who played Anthony Moon in EastEnders from 2011 to 2012 will also return.
Britain's Got Talent star and finalist, Flintz, will return for his second appearance at the Avenue after also being a part of the event last year.
Love island’s Billy Brown, Zac Ashford and Josh Brocklebank will also take to the pitch, as too will Married at First sight’s Georges Berthonneauand.
More celebrities set to play in the friendly are due to be announced soon, while their appearances are subject to work commitments.
The match is being run by Sellebrity Soccer, which organises celebrity football matches across the UK. It is being sponsored by Winterborne Hospital, Agincare, Echotown Studio and Dorset PAT testing.
Last year, the game drew in 1,000 spectators to the Avenue and raised a total of £15,000 for Tommy’s Charity, which campaigns to find causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as pregnancy and baby loss support.
Tickets for the match start at £13.70 and can be bought online from https://shorturl.at/esMZW
