There are delays to traffic along a major route between Weymouth and Dorchester.
The A354 at Monkton Hill, along the southbound carriageway is partially blocked due to an obstruction in the road.
It is causing some delays to drivers in the area.
As reported, traffic was already moving extremely slow following overnight roadworks.
Resurfacing work is being done overnight on the A354 at Monkton Hill and will continue until Thursday, June 20.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays travelling to and from Weymouth on the main route because of ramps and the temporary road surface.
