People who are struggling to afford getting online are being offered free SIM cards thanks to a partnership with Dorset Council.
The council has teamed up with the Good Things Foundation, a digital inclusion charity, and are offering free SIM cards that last for up to six months.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: "Are you struggling to afford to be online or use a smartphone? Then help is available.
"We have teamed up with Good Things Foundation to provide free SIM cards that last for 6 months.
"These SIM cards offer up to 20GB of data per month to people who cannot afford data and have limited or no access to the internet."
To be eligible for the scheme people must be aged 18 or over and come from a a low-income household within the Dorset Council area.
