Residents are being invited to take part in an event to improve their wellbeing through exercise.
Weymouth Town Council is organising the free wellness day at the park and ride site in Weymouth on Saturday, June 29, from 11am until 3pm.
The event will offer an opportunity for residents and visitors to engage in various wellness activities and learn about local community groups in the town.
A guided bike ride will be on offer to anyone who brings a bike to Lodmoor Country Park through to Overcombe and back and there will be three guided walks on the day.
The first one to Lorton Meadows, the second one to Radipole Park and Gardens and the third to Lodmoor Nature Reserve.
There will also be guided bird walks, and Dorset Police will be there promoting their bike marking scheme.
Local community groups will offer be offering unique insights into ways of enhancing a person's well-being through exercise and being in nature as well.
Groups include Dog Friendly Social who will be promoting the benefits of walking with dogs.
Cllr Jon Orrell, mayor of Weymouth said: "As a former doctor I am delighted to be supporting an event designed to focus on wellbeing for Weymouth residents, as well as discovering ways to get fit for free across the town.
“Whether you want to learn more about wellness from our local community groups or join in on a guided walk or bike ride, there's something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you there and hope this event helps to promote a healthier and happier Weymouth."
