Patrols of a recreation ground have increased following reports of antisocial behaviour.

Police have been doing foot patrols of the Shillingstone Recreation Ground following reports of antisocial behaviour in the area.

A spokesperson for North Dorset Police said: "Officers from Blue Squad  North Dorset have been conducting foot patrols in Shillingstone Recreation Ground in response to reports of antisocial behaviour in the area.

"As you can see PC Sparks was out in the lovely infamous summer weather, all was in order and patrols will continue."

Police across Dorset have stepped up patrols this summer in a bid to reduce anti-social and criminal behaviour.

The initiative, called ‘100 days of summer’, will see officers on dedicated foot patrols at key locations and times for 100 days.
