A drama club based in Weymouth will be taking to the stage with a comedic tale of friendship.
Weymouth Drama Club will be performing The Sweet Delilah Swim Club at the Bay Theatre in Weymouth College at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 27, Friday, June 28 and Saturday June 29.
The play is set in the southern United States and tells the story of five women who, on their college swim team, ending forging a strong friendship which spans decades.
Julie Knight, director of the production said: “I love this play with its strong message of friendship, no matter what. Set in August, it’s a perfect summer offering for our audience, and, unusually, a great vehicle for an all-female cast.”
