Swanage Jazz Festival

The annual Swanage Jazz Festival is back on 12 – 14 July with some exciting developments.  Alongside the 50 top quality bands in the ticketed programme, the festival is reaching out to residents and holiday visitors with a Jazz Village on Sandpit Field with free performances, jazz DJs, jazz yoga, food and drink stalls and two participative performances for 5 – 10 year olds.

Of course if you are a jazz enthusiast then the ticketed programme has a wide range to enjoy with singer/pianist Liane Carroll, ‘The Wonder of Stevie’ tribute to you know who, ‘Jivin’ Miss Daisy’, and the fast-rising Emma Rawicz and her 20 piece jazz orchestra plus many more.

Day tickets are from £43. Full details are at: www.swanagejazzfestival.co.uk

Blashenwell Wines

Blashenwell Wines was founded by Soren Tholstrup, a third-generation Danish wine aficionado with a Pan-European upbringing.

At Blashenwell Wines, we represent and import a wide variety of producers, large and small, mainly from France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, and Greece.

After rigorous tasting, our selection is available to the trade to complement their ever-evolving menus, and for our loyal private customers to share the thrill of uncovering the new.

It’s this voyage of discovery which sits at the heart of our philosophy. Our tasting programme, which takes place in the middle of The Isle of Purbeck, is fast becoming a staple event. Our clients become friends over time, with the shared enjoyment of wine at the core. Our focus is always to bring affordability to your everyday drinking wines.
