A luxury yacht owned by a Saudi Arabian businessman has docked in Weymouth Bay.
The H3 yacht is owned by Waleed bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim who is the founder and chairman of the Middle East Broadcasting Centre, also known as MBC Group.
The luxury yacht arrived in Weymouth Bay at around 4pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 12), from Alblasserdam, the Netherlands and is understood to be en route to Southampton.
The vessel measures an impressive 105 metres and is currently flying under the flag of the Cayman Islands.
H3 is named after Waleed bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim’s wife Hana and before the Saudi businessman came to own the yacht, it previously belonged to a member of the Saudi Arabian royal family who purchased it for around €35 million.
The yacht has recently undergone an extensive refit which included an extension of 10m and a completely rebuilt superstructure - She was then relaunched on January 25, 2023 - following this, H3 won the title of 'Best Rebuilt Yacht' at the world superyacht awards.
