A motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a crash on the coast road has been named as Lee Steven Adams, 29, of Weymouth.
It came as an inquest into his death was formally opened at Bournemouth Town Hall by the Dorset Coroner.
The short hearing also confirmed that he died on Saturday June 1.
The coroner's office of Dorset and has adjourned the inquest to be heard at a later date.

Dorset Police received a report at 12.34pm on Saturday, June 1, of a collision on the B3157 coast road at Abbotsbury Hill involving a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a grey Volvo X90.
Emergency services attended and Mr Adams was pronounced dead at the scene.

The news has left his family 'devastated' and they have asked of their privacy to be respected as they manage their grief.
