More than £20,000 has been raised for charitable causes thanks to a popular Weymouth event.
Fayre in the Square returned to Weymouth over the late May Bank Holiday and has been hailed as a success after thousands flocked to the harbourside.
Trinity Road, Cove Row and Hope Square were taken over as record crowds attended this year's event which enjoyed a perfect sunny weekend for visitors to enjoy the festivities.

The event, which is put on on by the Rotary Club of Weymouth, raised a total of £22,000 over the weekend and included live performances from musicians, cider bars, food and stalls, as well as a new kids arts and craft tent.
This is more than the £18,000 raised in 2023 and £19,000 in 2022
The Rotary club uses the event as its main fundraiser for the year and thanks to all the donations, food and drink sales and stall rentals - every voluntary group which supported this year's event will receive grants - with others being invited to apply.
Event organiser Richard Burgess said: "Thanks to good weather, record crowds and with the bonus of a visiting cruise ship, we did very well indeed this year.
"As a result we will be supporting all the voluntary organisations that helped us put on the event and would invite any local charities or youth organisations who have not already done so to apply for us for grant assistance.
"As always we would normally give priority to organisations needing to raise funds for specific projects.
"As ever we would thank the singers and bands who performed, local residents and businesses and organisations who tolerated the disturbance to their lives and the businesses that supported our efforts.
"We like to think that Fayre in the Square is the premier charity fundraising event of the year in Weymouth. All monies raised will be spent locally and we hope wisely.
"We are already on the hunt for business that would like to exhibit or sponsor the event for next year, anyone that is interested can also e-mail us at Weymouthrotary@outlook.com."
Any group wishing to apply for a grant should write to Mr Burgess at Weymouth Rotary Club Pilgrim House, Hope Square Weymouth DT4 8TU or email the secretary at Weymouthrotary@outlook.com
