A fire broke out at a popular restaurant at Weymouth Harbour.
Firefighters were called to a blaze at Quayside Bar and Kitchen based on Custom House Quay in Weymouth after 5pm.
Three fire engines were seen outside the building.
No injuries have been reported however the restaurant will remain closed for the night.
A Facebook post from the restaurant read: "As most people on Weymouth harbour have probably seen we have 3 fire engines outside currently due to a small kitchen fire.
"We will not be open tonight and will keep you updated on progress. Apologies to anyone booked tonight and a massive thanks to fire crews. We're glad to say all the team and customers are fine."
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "A call came in at 5.19pm on Tuesday, June 11 about a fire at the restaurant.
"We had three pumps in attendance."
