A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving whilst leaving a pub near Dorchester.
Officers from Dorset Police have arrested a man on suspicion of committing several driving related offences - including drink driving.
Yesterday evening (June 7), officers sighted a man who was disqualified from driving as he left a pub car park on the outskirts of Dorchester.
The man was found on Trinity Street and was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed alcohol level, driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance.
His motorcycle was seized and will be appearing in magistrates court today (June 8) after being charged with all three offences.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said: "Yesterday evening, Neighbourhood Officers arrested a male on suspicion of committing a number of driving related offences.
"A male who is disqualified from driving was sighted by officers leaving a pub car park on the outskirts of the town.
"He was located on Trinity Street a short time later and spoken to by officers. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit, driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance.
"The motorcycle was seized and he has since been charged with all three offences and remanded in custody to appear before magistrates today."
