DRIVERS have been urged to avoid a route in Purbeck following a crash which has closed a road.
The collision, involving two vehicles happened on the B3351 between Corfe Castle and Studland just before 4pm today (Thursday).
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 3.52pm of a two-vehicle collision on the B3351 near Studland.
"Emergency services are currently at the scene responding to the incident and road closures have been put in place.
"We do not have any update regarding injuries at this time.
"Motorists are urged to seek an alternative route if possible and we would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the closures are in place."
