A MAIN route in Dorset is closed while resurfacing work is being carried out.
Part of the A354 between Dorchester and Blandford is currently shut in both directions.
The road just north of Winterborne Whitechurch is closed between 9am and 4pm daily.
Resurfacing work is being done by Dorset highways at Thornicombe Hill, Thornicombe with a completion date of June 13.

Some 3,080 metres of the A354 is being resurfaced from its junction with the C6 to a point 400 metres to the north of Littleton Drove (in both directions).
A signposted official diversion route of 44.76km is in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
The temporary closure order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
