ROADS in a Dorset village are to be temporarily closed for resurfacing work.

Sections of two roads in West Knighton near Dorchester will be resurfaced.

The works will be carried out from June 19 between 5am and 5pm and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by July 3.

There will be a temporary road closure on Knighton Lane from its north junction with the A352 to Broadmayne First School.

Highgate Lane from its junction with Knighton Lane to its junction with the West Stafford bypass will also be temporarily closed.

There will be a temporary clearway on Knighton Lane from its north junction with the A352 to Broadmayne First School and a temporary clearway on Highgate Lane from its junction with Knighton Lane to its junction with West Stafford bypass.

A locally signed diversion route will be in place.

This is to prevent vehicles stopping except those associated with the works.

Any vehicle in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed.
