POWER tools were stolen from a construction site on Portland.
It is reported that entry was gained to a construction site on Hamm Beach Road near the Lidl supermarket and several power tools were taken.
These included a petrol generator, laser level, and a tripod.
Officers from Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward as we investigate a commercial burglary on Portland.
Police Constable Jack Denning, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out various enquiries into this burglary.
“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity during the reported time of the offence, as well as any business owners or motorists who may have captured relevant footage on their security cameras or dashcams.”
The items were reportedly stolen between 5pm on Wednesday, May 22 and 6.30am on Thursday, May 23, but police have released the information today.
