A hugely successful festival is returning this weekend.
SummerFest will once again take place on the grounds of Redlands Leisure and Community Park in Weymouth on Saturday, June 8 from 10am-11pm.
The event will be jam-packed full of live music, entertainment, a football tournament, stalls, food and drink concessions - and rounded off with a huge firework display.
SummerFest 2024 will boast a bumper line-up of local musical talent including the Speedway Snails, Modern Disciples, The Undecided, Hustle and Chill, as well as DJ sets throughout the day.
A spokesperson for SummerFest 2024 said: "We had a few thousand people turn up last year which was quite a good turnout.
“It’s an affordable family day out, hosted by local people and there is quite a lot going on – This is the second year, it’s amazing to go from nothing to something big, raising all that money for charity."
There will also be a D-Day centre procession to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day and potentially even an appearance from one of their jeeps.
This year organisers are raising money for the Weymouth RNLI which they branded ‘a vital community institution that has been saving lives at sea for over a century.’

Funds will also be donated to the Dorset Acquired Brain Injury Rehab Service, a hugely important service that helped rehabilitate Round Table member Grant Tewkesbury after a serious head injury in 2022.
Entry is via donation which is a minimum of £2 per person and children go free.
Those who wish to donate can do so via the festivals JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/summerfest2024.
On site parking is limited and is £10 which includes entry and additional parking is also available at the Mount Pleasant Park and Ride just off of Mercery Road which is around a 15 minute walk, or a designated free shuttle bus will also be running.
