RESIDENTS are invited to a workshop to help shape a bid for Weymouth and Portland to become Dorset's Capital of Culture for 2025.
Portland and Weymouth are bidding to be the centre of the County of Culture for Dorset in 2025.
Portland Town Council and Weymouth Town Council are working in partnership on the bid and would like your help on what should be included.
To help shape ideas, the councils are hosting two workshops where residents, businesses, and creatives can come together and share their ideas, hopes and dreams for the future of Portland and Weymouth.
The first workshop was held last week in Weymouth.
A second workshop will take place tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, June 5, between 2pm – 4pm at the Portland Community Venue, Three Yards Close, Fortuneswell, Portland, DT5 1JN.
