CUNARD'S famous ocean liner the Queen Mary 2 is one of two cruise ships to arrive at Portland this morning.
It is understood to have been sailing to Le Havre, France, but got diverted.
Carrying 2,640 passengers, the transatlantic ocean liner - which has a regular service between Southampton and New York - is the oldest and the most famous vessel in the Cunard fleet.
The ship was officially named Queen Mary 2 by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2004.
It was was one of the ships that anchored in Weymouth Bay in 2020 during the pandemic.
Also arriving this morning is CFC Resistance with 1,100 passengers on board. It is operated by Compagnie Française de Croisières.
