People in Dorset will get the chance to have a wander through the gardens of a historic ground with guided tours.

The head gardener of Kingston Maurward will be giving two tours of the picturesque gardens at the historic building near Dorchester.

The 35-acre formal gardens were first created by the Hanbury Family between 1915 and 1922.

Participants will be able to enjoy an informative and insightful tour from the gardener who will be on hand to share an insight into the seasonal changes of the gardens.

Taking place on Friday, June 14 and Monday, July 8, the tours will meet at the animal park shop at 1.30pm. Cost of entry to the tours is £7.50.
