A FESTIVAL in Dorset has applied to keep the party going for longer.
A premises licence application has been submitted on behalf of Upton Food and Drink Festival requesting a change in hours that licensable activities are permitted.
The festival is an annual event set in the grounds of Upton Country Park which hosts three days of food, drink and music.
The application, submitted by Upton House Concerts Ltd, requests that the licensable activities on Friday and Saturday can be provided one hour earlier and finish one hour later.
If approved, the festival will be allowed to play live and recorded music, and supply alcohol, between 11am and 11pm Friday and Saturday.
BCP Council is yet to make a decision on the application, and it will remain open for public consultation until Wednesday, June 5.
Representations should be made in writing on or before the above date to the BCP Council Licensing Team.
Upton Food and Drink Festival 2024 is taking place on June 14, 15 and 16.
