Road resurfacing works along a major Weymouth route are to continue with the next phase of the project set to begin.
Chickerell Road will be closed between Fiveways and the junction with Abbotsbury Road overnight starting tonight, Tuesday.
These works are to take place between the hours of 8pm and 6am and it is anticipated that they will be completed by Thursday, June 6.
A clearway will also be imposed along this area, meaning no parking or stopping on this stretch.
This is the second section of the road being closed. The first being at its junction with Chickerell Link Road near Aldi, which was also overnight, and was planned to be completed by Saturday, May 25.
