Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected today after the Met Office issued a weather warning for large parts of Dorset.
The warning is in place from 10am until 7pm on Sunday, May 25 and could cause some disruption.
The warning is in place for areas including Dorchester, Bridport and Lyme Regis.
There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray and standing water, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
Delays to train services are also possible
Some flooding of a few homes and businesses possible, leading to some damage to buildings or structures
There is also a small chance of a short term loss of power and some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes
Met Office deputy chief meteorologist Dan Harris said: “Sunday will have a mixture of sunny spells but also scattered, heavy and in places thundery downpours.
"Not everywhere will see them but where they do occur there is a small chance of some temporary issues such as flooded roads.
“We are keeping the weather warning situation under review, so please keep up to date with the latest warnings and forecasts from the Met Office if you have plans this Bank Holiday weekend.”
